In this episode of Gym + Kitchen, I'm interviewing a former colleague and instructor, Ryan Delaney. I first met Ryan in 2012 or 2013 when I was in personal trainer school - he was teaching one of the modules I needed in order to complete the program. We got along immediately and he was the one who encouraged me to study for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or NSCA, certification. Ryan himself is a Certified Personal Trainer with the NSCA and holds the prestigious title of being a TSAC trainer - Tactical Strength and Conditioning - with the NSCA. Ryan is also a kettlebell instructor, and has completed two mentorships with EXOS, formerly known as Athletes' Performance.
